Chic Chick: House Party

Any fit chick also wants to be chic (pronounced "sheek"). I went to a house party last night and snapped a few pictures before I left.

I forgot to take pics at the party...but I'm glad my friend snapped these. I am a firm believer in Kerry Washington's sentiments on fashion. I actually cut out her quote from a fashion spread she did in a magazine. It's on my inspiration bulletin board. "Fashion is an art. Clothes are a costume we use to express who we are."

I'm not a fashion blogger, but I try.

One of the best parts of losing weight is the clothes! I love looking better in my clothes and not having to worry about my gut when I sit down (pillows can go behind me now). I'm still trying to lose 10-15 more pounds because I want to tone up and have a totally flat stomach but for the time being, I'm enjoying how I look in my clothes. It's such a good feeling to be enjoying the journey to better health!
